Darling Harbour Sydney
Here I am finally at Sydney for the 6th time in the year I think.. and definitely one of the last time for the year 2005. I'm up here for my whole week's woth of 7 habits training. Apparently when you do things at least 7 times, it becomes a habit.. interesting...
Anyways, I left work yesterday arvo and the taxi driver said to me (on my way to airport), Melb airport just had the largest plane in the world land there 1/2 hr ago. So fair enough, when I got there, there was the new Qantas Airbus A380. It is a huge arse aircraft alright! 7 storeys high and able to carry 800 ppl! i was kicking myself for leaving my camera in my luggage. Afterall, 5000 Melbournians drove 1hr to the airport just to c it and here I am taking it for granted whilst on my way to Sydney!
Anyways, I got to Sydney around 5:40pm after getting my plane delayed and then yet again another 1/2 hr delay being in the air cos of the bad weather for landing at Syd! Poor Sandeep had to wait 1/2 hr for me!
We headed straight to Broadway and then walked 15mins into Darlingharbour..
This is definitely one of my favourite places in Sydney. I really much prefer doing my evening stroll at this side of town over Circular Quay (where the Harbour and opera house is). This place is full of energy and life and at night, there are so many nice restaurants and the lights just fill out the darkness from the water.. absolutely breathtaking..
There has been some moments where I sat here in my past 4yrs since I came to Sydney that I did my reminiscing of life.. Das ist Gut!
