Duc & I @3 Wise Monkey in CBD, Syd

After I came back from my visit @Uncle's place, Duc, Sandeep & I decided last minute to go out to see a cover band play. So our night began at 11pm...

We went to watch this group play at 3 wise monkey. They mostly played alternative rock music from groups like OffSpring, GreenDay etc.
They were pretty good! We met up with Duc's friend Kim who's ABC and is 37y.o but still acts like 22y.o! I was so surprised to see so many asians mixed with Aussies. You never see that in Melb. These type of events back in Melb, you hardly see any Asians, only Aussies. Asians are usually in the RnB clubs not like a pub style like venue. It was interesting to just watch the interactions.. Syd's night spots are definitely more friendlier and interactive than Melb (who usually are in their own groups and 'mind your own business' type of style).

We also went bar hopping/shopping cos towards later in the night we were all getting sick of dancing to top 40s.. and was on a mission to find a good RnB venue. So after about 4 of them we visited, we finally landed one called StarBar.
There were a mixed of Asians and your wogs (Turkish, Greeks, Italians, Lebanese etc) and hardly any Aussies around.. the music was really good.
We danced till 3:30am!

Finally got home 4am.. sooooooo zzzzzZZZZZ

Got up at 11:30am today and I'm all ready to go shoppinG! One final attempt for the year to buy something from Syd before I leave for home sweet home tomorrow... Burwood Westfield here I come ! =)
