Me & my no.1 Boyfriend

Every time without fail, I would ALWAYS make time to visit my 'uncle' aka my adopted grandpa whenever I'm in Syd for work. Our r/ship all started back in 2001 when I came up here to do my 3mths internship @WW. He was my landlord (originally from Taiwan & then moved to Vietnam thus he speaks mandarin, cantonese, vietnamese, french & english! smart cookie in deed) and I remember him saying on my first day 'you do your own thing, I do mine.. I won't mind you the way your parents does etc.' and 1 wk later, when I didn't ring him to tell him I was coming back home late, he rang me to ask where the heck I was?!!! He was furious that I was still not back home esp before midnight!! and all of sudden, our r/ship turned from a landlord - tenant r/ship to grandpa-grandaughter r/ship.. the grandpa that I never really had..

When I was in Syd, I attended a church where (no kidding you) 80% of the youngsters were men. So that meant, every week a new guy would drop me home. Uncle always joked 'wah a new one again?!' There was once when I was entertaining one of my friend in the lounge room, he came back and saw me with this guy just sitting in the TV room and he literally took my hand into the bathroom (without saying hi to him) and although he was trying to whisper, he said it so loud 'Who is this guy? You've never shown me this one before? He looks really nice... I think he's the one!' Gosh I was SOOOOOO embarrassed! cos obviously Nigel heard it too cos Uncle just don't know how to whisper! But yeah, everyone of my Syd friends know how important my 'grandpa' is to me.. I would choose going out with uncle over them and they respect that..

Everytime when I see him, he would take 20sec to have a good look at me and see whether or not I've put on weight! This guy is soooo concern about how I look it's not funny! hehehe.. once he literally took the scale out to weigh me! he is SOOOO CUTE!! If we go out to dinner, he would NEVER ever want me to pay. There was once I sneakily paid the bill before he had the chance to, he got sooooo angry at me that I felt soooo bad for paying! He's a true gentleman in deed...

He's been there from the moment I was still in University and doing my interneship to the days that I actually went to have my 2nd interview with P&G in Syd and he assessed how I look before I went and gave me all the advise I need. Then he was there for me when I graduated from Uni and now he's just looking back at the years I've been with the company and sharing all my sucesses with me... There were also many days that I've confided in him in regards to relationship and he gave me some really good advise. If there were r/ship breakdowns, he would ALWAYS remind me 'Vicky don't ever forget, I will ALWAYS be your no.1 boyfriend'
