Taxi Driver's Prophesy over me

So tonight I decided after my little 3hr shopping spree at Parramatta Westfield of which I bought absolutely NOTHING (sigh! I hate it when I spend so much time and so little money!) , I would take a cab back to Sandeep's place.

So Crowne Plaza hotel got me a cab and coincidentally the cab driver is chinese also, from Guong Zhou (probably around 40y.o). He only saw me for literally 5secs in the light to put my luggage in the boot and then the rest of the time was spent driving in the dark and chatting to me. He found out I knew Chinese/Mandarin too, so he started to converse to me in Chinese. He told me that he used to be a palm reader..

Then that's where all the very interesting conversations began... So here were some of his prophesies of which some were very spot on and others well I am yet to find out:
1) the first time I saw you immediately I know you're a person of success and intelligence that you are definitely have a degree or two just by the shape of your face, forehead etc.. ( I laughed my head off!)
2) there are a lot of guys after you... hahahahaHAHAHAHA!! now that's funny!
3) You do very well at work and you win a lot of ppl's favour at your workplace, even the mouse will want a piece of you too (he said it in a Chinese proverb). (hmm..true to some extent)
4) You will have a good life and b/c your birthdate is 24 and that u were born midnight, this means you will live past 80y.o (we shall see about that.. dunno if I want to live that long! I want to c Jesus now!)
5) You should not have a b/f that's same age as you b/c he will be less mature than you in terms of thinking and views on life (gosh he was spot on there!). Furthermore, if you were to marry someone the same age as you, when you're around 45-55y.o that's the decade where you are most susceptible to a marriage breakdown cos you would age faster than your husband and your husband will have a greater chance to fall for another woman... So the best age difference you should look for in a guy is 5yrs older. If u get a man 5yrs older that means 100% he will never leave you, 4yrs older, 90% he will never leave you & 3yrs older 80% he will never leave you... so I guess 80% is still pretty good cos that's a high distinction still.. so my min criteria is the guy has to be at least 3yrs older than me.. hehehe
6) B/c I'm born the year of Rooster this means I should date someone who's the year of Dragon (and coincidentally that also means someone who's 5yrs older than me! hahaa and immediately I thought of James & Sandeep who are very close to me & the only guys I know who are 5yrs older than me.... but guess what? the both getting married in the next 6mths! hahahaha)
7) I will have 2 husbands in my lifetime.. I asked him "is it cos my 1st husband will die before I will and that I will remarry?" he replied, that could be the case but it could also be cos he's cheated on you.... (oh great, just what I want to hear).

Then the entire journey (40mins) he was telling me that he was born into a bad life.. that's why he always struggles in many areas of his life (Eg. marriage, finance, work etc) and he said whereas you, you are born into a good life etc.

So... I thought it was the best opportunity to preach to him. I told him that it's b/c of God's blessings that I am who I am, not by my own strength but by His. Also, if you always believe that you will have a bad life, then you will have no choice but live out one... but if you believe you will have a good life and aim towards your life's goals and purpose, it will stretch you to achieving it...
He just brushed it off.. cos he was soooooooo faithful to his Chinese Fortune Telling Readings and wanted to live out all his prophesies that was given to him when he was 16y.o...

I think tonight was one of those weird, interesting encounters of my life.. only time will tell how true this is.. but the difference btw his prophesies and the actual reality is that I choose to live my life in total surrender to God's hand and not by some man's words over me..

p.s This morning i was buying coffee and I was looking at the shop assistant/owner and I was like man I so know this girl from somewhere.. and then another staff called her 'Donna' and Bingo! she was from Woolworths Marketing and worked with me 4yrs ago. I reminded her of our last encounter and she was like oh yeah! She's basically quit WW 2yrs ago and finally decided to make her dream happen by opening her own cafe called Lime Cafe opposite my hotel.. I really do admire ppl who dare to dream and dare to take the step of faith to grasp opportunities..
