Happy Australia Day

Today is Australia Day...

A day where Aussies become extra patriotic and proud of not only who they are, but of the great land we live in not to mention all the great Aussie Icons too. I can truely say too, I am so proud to be an Australian. The longer I live here in Australia, the more I call myself an Aussie (a label which in the past would've been an insult to me). Especially during the times I fly abroad or when I come back to home sweet home, I feel so extra proud to hold my blue passport and join in the citizen line. I feel so blessed to live in a country where the environment is so clean, a country that encourages freedom of speech, a country where there are so much space so we can all enjoy a barbie in our massive backyard and a country which supports its needy citizens. Welcome to the Great South Land of the Holy Spirit !

Ah, I can't believe this year will be my 16th year living in Australia. That is like two thirds of my life time spent here! hmm.. I think I can qualify to be an ABC now and marry an ang mo lang! I'm sure that'll go down very well with the folks.
