Farewells (again)

After church today, it was our final tambourine practice before our big performance or should I say 'day of glorifying God's name' next Sunday on Easter Day. It has been a good 3 months plus of learning the dance routine for us girls. Angela has been extremely great! Though she is unemployed (as she's just migrated to Australia from Singapore last Oct), Richard and her alongside with baby Jaz still comes to our church all the way from Cheltemham (a good 15km away!) at 4pm to teach us tambourine dance until 6pm! It was great to see all of us girls (about 10 of us) from being these amateurs on the very first day to now, 3 months later, these professional dancers! (well not quite professional yet, still room for improvement! hehehe..). We will be dancing to the songs 'Victory Chant' & 'Come Thou Fountains of Every Blessing'.

After the class was finally over (for good), we all gathered around Angela to say our heartfelt thanks as well as to present to her a bunch of very nice fake flowers (as I much prefer to give fake ones so it lasts forever!) and two huge presents which was OralB electric toothbrush for him and her (recommended by dentists) as well as the state of the art Braun Blender and hand mixer (recommended by chefs) as well as a Purpose Driven Life card signed by all of us girls. It was sad to say goodbye to her and especially baby Jazica but she deserves the break.

Immediately after church, I went over to Jo-Anne's house ( my good friend from Primary School aka as one of the best photographer I know! she was the friend who took the pic of me at Big Ben 4yrs ago and we won that photo entry to CLUBMED!) to pick her up for her farewell dinner at Bob's kitchen (the best Shanghai Noodles & Dumplings in Victoria!!) at Glenny.
Jo-Anne has finally decided to pack her bags and head for a new life in UK where her heart has always been ever since she came back to Australia after her 1yr exchange program there. She doesn't know when she will be back but knows she will definitely stay there for at least four years. Gosh I will so miss her deeply!
After the night was over, I gave her a big hug and told her that I'll see her in two years time (after I move to Singapore). We have also made plans to meet half way in Hong Kong where her brother resides. I said to her "I hope by the time we see each other again, we will be showing off each other's engagement ring!" =)

*Farewell my dear friend, I hope your new life in UK will bring window of opportunities for you as well as the freedom to fly to every destination your heart desires! Much Love and Happiness be with you aLwayS! xoxo*
