Greetings from India

Greetings from Jaipur everyone!
sorry I couldn't blog you guys any earlier.. it has been such an adventurous trip in this very 3rd world country in deed!

There has been so many 'funny stories' that happened to me for the past 3days! But to just give you one major highlight. I was at Quatb Minar fort in Delhi yesterday and there were all these school kids (about 16 of them) and they came up to me literally asking for my autograph! I thought they were kidding at first but they really had their pens and paper out and touching me as if I was this famous celeb! then asking me to be friends with them and then taking photos with me! gosh it was such a 'surprising' experience.. I think Indians are really deprived of seeing an Asian in their country!

Anyways, I'm currently in Jaipur now which is the last city that my girl friend Duc (who works at Qantas too) and I are doing a tour... we managed to also bump into our other 3 friends from Sydney also attending Sandeep's wedding at Aagra today! talk about a small world!
Today I finally got to see Taj Mahal!! It was spectacular! very pretty in deed. The downside was that the weather here is extremely hot. It's around 38C and very humid too! But don't worry I've been drinking many bottles of water here and trying my hardest to avoid all these sales man con artist selling fake water! that's antoher long story..
Tomorrow we will be seeing all the palace and forts of Jaipur also known as the Pink City.. then setting off to Delhi at night which is a 5hr drive (our driver is driving us).
Then on Wed morning we will be taking a domestic flight to Ranchi and from there another 5hr bumpy ride in the heat to Sandeep's hometown. On Thurs-Fri will be spent helping him and his family preparing for the wedding of the year and then finally sat is the wedding itself.
Anyways, my time is running out at this internet cafe.. Signing out!
