Life back to normal

It's been a week since I got back and what I dread most has already taken place. I'm back in the old swing of things. Ever since I got back, I had nothing planned for the month of June onwards.. and now, one by one, each weekends seems to get booked out all over again. Furthermore, as every day passes by, work has some how managed to steal most of my time. Olay seems to get more and more busy. I just don't know when this period of 'busy-ness' will end! I don't know how I'm going to last 2 yrs in this role!! If only we could fast fwd time...

Anyway, last night, I stayed back till 10:30pm at work and yet again set off the alarm in the massive building (as it turns on automatically at 10pm!). It was such a sad sight to see only my BLCKP in the very massive and very EMPTY parking lot...

With only 5hrs of sleep from last night, I've finally did my presentation to my buyers this morning at 9am for 2hrs with my boss and Olay trade mkt mgr accompanying me. (Category Review happens twice a year whereby being the category captain aka market leading brand, we are asked to present at least 50 pages of report to our buyers at CML H/Q with recommendations and future product launches to drive category growth). I literally had 2 days to do it since coming back from my annual leave. It's been hell. I had no weekend at all last week!

3 Major piece of news: Firstly, My cousin bro Alexis is down from Malaysia. It's good to see him here. He's just graduated from uni and is enjoying his last leg of holidays before he starts his career in engineering. I feel so bad cos my range review has taken up all of my time so much so that I absolutely had no time to show him around. To top it off, I got so sick on the weekend (bad bad cough and flu - the result of me running in the rain in Singapore and being drenched! plus staying up late to do my range review the past few nights) . I literally sneezed around 10times in a row! Praise God, I felt better yesterday just in time for my presso. Thank God I didn't have my cough spasm attack!

Secondly, Aunty Angie is also coming soon (next Thurs to be exact) to Australia from Malaysia too. She will be coming with her friend Elizabeth whom she met back in kindy days! It should be good to catch up with her again.

On the contrary, with so many ppl coming over, there has also been a major goodbye. This leads me to my 3rd piece of news. My bro Kevin has left home for good as of last Saturday. He now lives with my other bro Allen in Perth hopefully to start his career and live independently! Finally! Gosh all I can say is I wish Allen the best of luck in cleaning up all of Kev's mess! =) Also, my parents will be leaving for Malaysia end of this month too, which means only one thing - I get the entire house to myself for one month! I'm half happy and half sad.... gosh it'll be a very empty and lonely double storey house! and to top it off, with winter approaching, the days seems so gloomy, sad and miserable. I'm sooo going to feel 'family sick' ....
