A night in the city with cous

Last night we decided to take Alexis for a night out in Melbourne's CBD. Since Addy & Ron are not confident in driving in the city (cos too many cars) I offered to drive. So off we went, first stop to my fav Jap place Ajisen for dinner (which by the way started at 8:30pm as Addy and Ron wanted to stop at BreadTop first!)Anyways, we had our yummy ramens and fried squid then went off to the Parliament house to take some romantic pics... =)

Two funny stories of the night:
1) We dared Alexis to ask the police who was patrolling the parliament house for a photo with him - So after 10mins of pissing himself, he finally went up to the cop and asked... and to his heartbreak, the policeman rejected him! hahahahaha.. t'was sooo funny! Addy, Ron & I couldn't stop laughing watching the whole rejection scene from a distance..

2) Ronny has a very weak bladder - so after lining up with Alexis friends to go into a nightclub, Addy Ron & I decided not to go and instead went to accompany Ronny to find a loo! And u know what? THERE WASN'T ANY! because it was already 11pm and a lot of shop owners have learned (from bad experiences) not to let the city crowd use their loos.. so one by one they all turned Ronny down.. I was surprised the poor guy didn't turn purple! Finally, we walked from the cnr of Bourke St & Elizabeth St to the end of Elizabeth and then back up to Russell St into Regents Theater and snuck into the toilets there! We literally walked for like 1/2hr! I even bumped into Joanne Woo too and her friend Jane (who have now moved down from Newcastle to live in Toorak for good!) as well as seeing Tena (a friend from Chinese school whom I haven't seen for a good 3yrs! she hasn't changed a bit!)

After all that, poor Alexis was sick of waiting for us to come back, so he ended up calling his good friend David (Ad & Ron's soon to be bro-in-law =) down to meet him. After we finally met up, the four of us went to Hyatt Hotel to chill (while David went to do his photography work at the at another nightclub) and finally we went to Lygon St. I was hoping to take Alexis to Koko Black for the most sinful hot chocolate ever! but they just decided to close the moment we walked in! So ended up eating gelati at midnight instead =) It was a good night though we spent most of it walking the entire CBD thanks to Ronny! ha!

I'm currently organising the trip (day by day itinerary) for Aunty Angie and her girl-friend Liz to Cairns and gosh it's making me sooo wanting to go too! I never knew how pretty Cairns is until now!!
Then it made me even more depressed cos I won't be having any major holidays until next year!! ARGHHHH!!!

It's going to be a real tough change for me to adapt to considering last year I went to Malaysia & Singapore TWICE, followed by Japan, Central Australia, Perth & Thailand! Ohmigosh and this year was just NZ & India? that's it? NOOOO!!! How can you deprive a sparrow from not flying & exploring? ** wiping a tear away **
