Product recalled, Product Purchased

I can't believe the news of Bausch & Lomb's Multi-purpose solution being recalled! All thanks to their state of the art MoistureLoc ingredient which allows you to both clean & store your lenses (well so we all thought!) ARGHHHH!! That's the brand that I've been using for like over 5yrs+ ... golly gosh and now they've done a world-wide product recall cos there has been at least 18 ppl blinded as a result of using it over the years. Apparently MoistureLoc has been found to cause Fusarium keratitis eye disease which results in blindness! OHMIGOSH! I first heard this news through my aunty in Malaysia on Monday ! and now.. today I hear it on headline news in Australia and here I was thinking it won't affect here at all... Gosh I really pray my eyes will be ok in the long run!

Anyways, so now that all of my Renu solutions has been chucked out, my hands were itching to buy something else to replace my bathroom bench! Finally today at work, I went to the staffshop to get the state of the art ORAL B TRIUMPH (the best electric toothbrush just released on the market, worldwide). I got it for around $117AUD (staff price) when it should be RRP $189! (hehehe.. one of the perks in working for a company that produces state of the art/innovative products!)

This toothbrush has a patented brush-head that basically consists of 3 things: a 'dentist-inspired' polisher, advanced floss action and a smart micro-chip that actually customises your own brushing program (eg. choosing from:clean, soft, massage & polish actions). Not only that, the smart technology helps you to achieve the 2 minutes (dentist recommended) of brushing as it has a LCD screen that actually times the brush-head! Want more features? Well.. the LCD screen also tells you the amount of battery power to go, the level of charging power, as well it tells you when the brush-head should be replaced. What's more is if you're cheeky and try to put the old brush head back again, it won't let you!! as it actually reads the chip in the brush head! So this means if you're partner has their own brush head.. it will read their brushing program and life of the brushhead too!!! smart hey?

At the end of the day, despite the fact that this was an expensive investment, nevertheless if you truely think about it.... a gorgeous smile is priceless ain't it? ;o)
