Another highlight of my career...

Now that the SBD project is finally launching this week in 9 of Coles test stores, it means I've been given the special privilege to purchase all the 30 lines of deleted skus! that's over 200 items of skincare! Everything from toner, wet wipes, acne cream, scrubs, cleansers, lip gloss, face mask, body exfoliating scrub, body firming lotion and the list goes on and on.. I had to buy out all the stock on my AMEX corporate card as if I was a 'normal' shopper doing my weekly shopping! The checkout chicks all thought the skincare products were on clearance sale or something! Who can blame them for this insane purchase! Now, for all the 6yrs I've worked as a check-out chic, I've never seen such a long receipt as the one I received from Coles Chadstone.. golly gosh, it was over 1 metre long! and the damage? $1400! ! Good flybuys pts I tell ya!

Anyways, what am I going to do with over $10K worth of stock u ask (there are a total of 9 test stores)? well since I'm pretty much the president of the P&G Social Club for Melbourne, I thought this coming Friday, I'd hold a once off staff only sale with savings of over 70% off! All proceeds will go towards the social club! more free social events for P&Gers! yeah! As well, I'll take some of for 'competitor testing analysis' for the ppl involved in SBD project. As well, I think I'm going to put it all in a basket and give it as a prize for a sales challenge for the reps who does the most spectacular Off Location Display for Olay! Yeah! Go Olay!

Tonight, I went over to Nigel & Janelle's new house in Chadstone for dinner. I had a nice time catching up with them as well as looking at the baby kicking Janelle's tummy! how awesome was that! Never knew u could actually see the baby's head/feet through the tummy! As cool as it was, man I still can't imagine myself being a mother ... I'm so not ready and don't think I will ever be ready *rolling my eyes*
