Road to Winter

Welcome to the 1st day of Winter! I'm soooOOOOOO COLD!

This past week has flown so fast and yes I'm still surviving.

Thank you to everyone who's been so caring! Ringing me to keep me company, emailing me to keep me entertained, smsing me to make sure I'm eating well & my high school chickies who left stacks of raw fishballs, meat, tofus, every steamboat item in my fridge (from our steamboat fest on Sun) to make sure I can eat steamboat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Boy oh Boy, I haven't felt soooo loved (oh rather, felt pitied on is the correct term hehehe...) I'm truly blessed!

It's been a very boring week so far (Except Tuesday's farewell dinner). Here's the 10 list of things (in sequential order) that I always do every single day.

1. Going to work very early in the morning (in the darkness) freezing my butt off !!

2. Coming home late (in the darkness again) freezing my butt off!!

3. Sometimes I go to Coles straight after work to do store checks on my Olay (yes I'm a workaholic and very passionate about skincare!) or to actually go grocery shopping!

4. Getting home, run to the mailbox only to find bills after bills (then it hits me that I have to pay all of them as well! I HATE BEING AN ADULT!!! I WANT MY MUM!! LET ME GO BACK TO MY CAREFREE CHILDHOOD!! **Wiping a tear away and blowing her nose...)

5. Boil water. Cook something quick and easy (usually a packet of continental cuppa soup! Gosh those things are a smart invention olright! taste so good too!!) then run to the front door to chuck any rubbish I've accumulated in the interim.

6. After dinner, it's off to my room where I can find warmth with the heater blowing full blast on my feet while typing away on my PC pondering upon my very boring day (I must the weather plays a BIG part of my misery) and listening some awesome Praise & Worship Songs.

7. Ring Aunty Angie to make sure she's ok in Cairns and to hear all the adventure that she & Elizabeth are having while I sit at home pretending I'm there with them...

8. After surfing the net, it's opening my stupid work files and doing more work!

9. Finally it's off to bed. I literally sleep with my doona nearly covering my head cos it's THAT cold!!

10. I drift off to dreamland where I'm soaking in all the sunshine at Cairns, sipping my Pina-Colada and sitting on the beach while getting my tan. Then I take off my sunnies half way to perve at all the hot guys that walks by with their damn fine 6-packs. All of a sudden, my concentration is disturbed by a deafening sound.

DIDIT DIDIT DIDIT DIDIT....

the sound of my Nokia alarm phone! It's 7am. NO!!!! I DON'T WAN T TO GO TO WORK!!
