Day II: The Fusion Truck Arrives..

For the launch of Gillette Fusion, the company has also decided to hire out a truck for the whole year and literally make it a Gillette Fusion truck (eg. painting it outside & putting an exhibition display of the razor blade/sink inside). The truck is HUGE measuring at 22 metres long!

So this morning at 7:30am, I decided to support the Gillette Blades & Razors team by visiting the truck which arrived outside our hotel (for staff only) at 5am and of course to check out the hot Gillette models!! Tomorrow it'll go down to Melbourne for our presentation to Coles H/Q in Tooronga (apparently it costs $2500 every time we move it from one place to another!).
The truck will soon be very famous on Australian TV as it will be visiting the grounds of important Cricket Matches, AFL, Easter Shows, Sunrise Australia and more.. all planned for next year!

Then I decided to walk along the beach & then back to our hotel roof top to soak in the breath-taking views before heading for buffet breakfast at the hotel's restaurant.

The day starts early at Manly - 7:30am
Gorgeous. Just Gorgeous!

Finally it was 8am: Olay's presentation of the upcoming new product initiatives. As we walked into the room, we were all greeted with Chandon's Champagne breakfast & a box of Lindt Choccies. The presentation was awesome! Another line up of innovative breakthrough technology in skincare coming soon!! As well, all the summer plans & PR we have lined up for Olay Complete! Gosh I'm soooo excited!!

Then finally at night, we all split for dinner. Rather than joining my CML Team, I decided to hang out with the Marketing Team instead so that I can catch up with the girls who works in Sydney. So all up, the 9 of us went to a really nice poshy restaurant and had delicious Scampi's (Big Prawns) and Barrumundi! mmMM mmMMM!

mmmMMMMMM...Scampis..

After that, The Sales & Marketing team met up again to head off to the very well known local Pub in Manly: The Steynes . Whatta yenno, it was Karaoke Night! So after 4 glasses of Champagne & 2 Wines, Susan & I went up on stage to sing 'Can't take My eyes of you' by Lauren Hill - in front of 100 ppl in PUBLIC! You see that's called Courage mah.. well ok er..maybe not.. sheer stupidity are the right words!
