P&G News!

I don't know what is in the air.. but the month of October flew right past my eyes and now.. the month of November, even faster!

1.5mths to go before the year ends and that really frightens me although I am looking forward to 2007!

Anyway, last week at work, it was the most 'bludgiest' working week of the year.
Mon - Annual Leave, Tues - Public Holiday, Wed - only day of working, Thurs - Oaks Day, Fri - Company Picnic Day. So this week, was a busy week of catching up and undergoing lots of training!

Here are top 2 random things to share:

1) The Oaks Day winners were soooo touched by their day of experience at Spring Racing Carnival that some of them wrote a beautiful poem (that rhymed too) to thank us all. As well, another person did a blog about it that literally followed their journey from touching down to Melb, to hair & make-up, to their free $1K shopping spree to the classy 3 course dinner and finally to the Oaks Day event! No doubt P&G has 'touched their lives...' some form or another...

2) I finally got my new laptop since my old Dell is way past it's life span! I got the new HP Compact nc6400 with wide screen and cool speakers plus an increase in memory space from 40G to 74.5G! yepee! More pics here I come! The scariest thing I must admit was not being able to set up wireless at home since I now have a new laptop AND especially since my bro now live in Perth & I am clueless about computers! So guess what God did for me instead? He sent the HP IT guy to my place just to set it up for me (and mind you this was NOT work related) HA! And the best thing was? Ben's also a Christian from Ghanda West Africa! (he knew I was a Christian cos of my desktop wallpaper!) God is so good ;)
