The Art of Negotiation

Today, after YGII, I decided to pop over to Al's old aptment to check up on James since I can't seem to touch base with him on the phone!! Anyhow, once again he was out! that boy is really enjoying his freedom olright!

Anyhow, the weirdest thing happened. I did a reverse out from Madeline St and saw a red Celica (talk about De Ja Vu!).. and then I overtook it but then had to slow down cos it was a red light. Then the celica started to horn at me! I was like what on earth? and looked at the guy.. and it was this dark guy.. no idea who he was.. he wind down his window and started smiling at me and kept on waving to me and horning his 'Silly-car!' golly gosh what is the world coming to!! what a bad bad way to pick up a chic! I gave him the look of 'Do I know you? I think u got the wrong person!'

Anyways, today at work I learnt the art of negotiation by just hanging out so much with my boss Kirsten and her boss Alastair. Coles are negotiating with us to give them a hot price deal for their upcoming huge, MASSIVE, FIRST TIME EVER Promotion on w/c 27.3. Of course, they didn't tell us what it entails exactly.. but they will definitely take back market share from WWs that's for sure! U should C the TV ads nowadays.. it's all of WW's new marketing campaign about 'low price everyday' and then next minute u c Coles ad saying 'you will find 2000 weekly specials every week guaranteed'. It's awesome to see the two giant retailers that controls 90% of Australia's grocery market fighting heads on. Anyways, get this, they usually do around 8000 units of Total Effects & Regenerist combined on promotion per week!! Now guess how much they're ordering for just that 1 week alone????? 46,000 units!! That's how much Malaysia's market does over HALF a YEAR!! So here's the million dollar question, what on earth is happening at Coles on 27.3?? Commonwealth Games specials? Grand Prix Grand Opening Specials? who knows!!
Anyways, just seeing Kir and Al heads on with the Coles buyer was awesome!! The way they position the offering at a different angle is what you call art alright!!!

OK, I better go start packing before I need more Olay to love the skin I'm in tomorrow! Sydney here I come (again!)
