Olympic Park - Homebush Sydney
Our OND qtr Strategy deployment is held at Sydney Olympic Park at Homebush Bay (where they held the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games). It's a very 'inspirational place'. A place all about 'striving to win', hence why our CEO chose this venue to have our meeting. Man to think the last time I was here was when with Sandeep and Kim which was about 2yrs ago! Time surely flies!
1) Definitely catching up with Sis (ex-Woolies colleague) - straight after I landed in Syd, she came to pick me up from the airport and we literally caught up on the long lost 8mths! We went for dinner at Wagamama - Jap rest. at Surrey Hills then went for the best coffee afterwards. It was such a fun night filled with LOLs. It was really good to have caught up with Sis especially since it was at such short notice too (I literally rang her to catch up when I was at Melb airport just before I was about to fly to Syd!)
2) Catching up with all of my P&Gers from Syd & NZ. They are such sweeties and I get along so well with every person young and old, males & females! They're truly like family. This instant connection!
3) Dinner at Doy Tao Thai restaurant in Drummoyne. The banquet only costed $25.50 pp. It was absolutely beyond filling! The food I must say was really good! I LURVE THAI!! one of my top 3 fav cusines!
4) The new product launches coming up.. .I'm sooooooOOOO excited about the new look of Herbal Essences (which is my fav. Shampoo brand of P&G cos I love the smell and the softness to the hair (if u use the right variant). The US market has already launched the new range of HE (Entire change in packaging and brand positioning) and boy sales have hit the roof (beating Fructis!). Australia will be the second market in the world to launch! Can't wait to get my hands on it!
5) I finally got the bag of Haircare + a bit of skincare goodies from John (my mentor and the Pantene trade mkt mgr) which was the door raffle prize I won back in March (Terrigal conference). No doubt my luggage will be overweight again!
Two more days to go before I get to see my beloved uncle! yeah =)
* Happy birthday to my dear cousin in Malaysia - Loon Ong! *
