Tulips. Sausages. Rose.
Another eventful Saturday filled with 3 major highlights:
1) Tulip Festival with LW - We were supposed to start @10am but the girl slept in! (no wonder her nickname is Proton - so unreliable!). We went to Cafe Green Bean in Belgrave for brunch before heading off to Silvan for the all famous tulip festival held only 2 weekends of the year (entry fee = $14 ->there were sooo many Asians there man! goodness! )
2) BBQ at Lysterfield - A ECC church member name bruce, who originally fled from Cambodia 20 yrs ago, invited our cell to his place for a BBQ because he was touched to see that our hearts were very set on missions in Cambodia. My goodness, I tell ya his place is HUMONGUS with over 3acres of land! His house is soooo well built to every fine minute details! The house have: a laundry shoot, 6 bedrooms, 1 tennis & basketball court, 1 indoor swimming pool with 2 spas, 1 sauna room, 1 pool room with in-built bar, 2 fountains outdoor, 1 fengshui area with sand indoors, 1 TV surround sound system room, 3 study rooms, 1 sun room (yep that's right, just a room to soak in all the sun you want!), 2 kitchens, 2 formal dining rooms & 2 formal Lounge rooms, 5 bathrooms and the list goes on and on... He just sold it for $1.9million! Truly stunning! His wealth is so very well deserved too after years of trauma & suffering in Cambodia! (eg. seeing his own parents getting massacred - gun to the head, walking through landmines while trying to escape the cruetly in Cambodia etc.)
3) Dinner with a special friend - Let's just say the night was very 'unique' in deed... He even rang afterwards to make sure I got home safely.. what a gentleman!
* A very happy Qtr Century Birthday to ATTC --> This one's picked just for you ;) Jeremiah 9:23-24
