Syd - Retail Therapy!

So this arvo, I landed in Syd airport at 4pm after 1/2hr delay on my stupid QF plane! Never on time!!

Anyhow, then here I was thinking I'll get to my hotel at 5pm just in time to go do LOTSA shopping!! But nope.. that didn't happen. Instead, the taxi driver and I was stuck in 5km stretch tunnel for 50mins!! The worse traffic jam ever and inside a tunnel too! It was ridiculous!

Anyways, finally I got to my hotel at nearly 6pm. Sandeep was sweet enough to ring me to welcome me back to Syd while I was in the cab (even though it's only been 1wk since I last arrived in Syd).

Finally, Crowne Plaza Parramatta hotel staff was soooo friendly and took all of my luggage inside my room so that I could get dressed into my casual gear ready to go shopping!!

And SHOPPING I DID ALRIGHT!! I bought like nearly 10pieces of clothing and all up the damage bill was? $80!! That's right... the most expensive thing I bought was working pants from $49 down to $20! Bargain! But the biggest bargain of all was definitely the Valleygirl end of season sale. Everything less than $20! The most expensive item in the shop that I bought was $6.95! they were pants too! and most of the things I got were really nice tops from $25 down to $5!!! I bought two items for mum who's going for a wedding dinner in Syd real soon. So I thought I'd dress her up a little! hehehe... but yah.. was soooo proud of my bargains!

Then I bought takeaway and absolutely struggled to walk the 10mins walk back to my hotel at 8:30pm in the dark! It was still very safe as there were soooo many ppl out still. It really reminded me of Singapore. The weather, the crowd, the stores (so many Asian stores too!). I can't wait to live in Singapore!

Anyways, back to reality. I got back to my hotel and felt soooo embarrassed. Cos the staff were smiling and saying good evening while opening the doors for me.. and here I am looking like Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde with all her shopping bags!! hahahaha!! Oh well, a girl needs her retail therapy once in a while!
