Wet & White Christmas 2006

Merry Christmas Everybody!

At wee hours on Christmas day, the heaven's decided to send down the much needed rain onto the earth of Melbourne. In fact, it rained so loud that most of us was woken by the heavy rain drops, gushing wind and deafening hail storms at around 3am. The rain kept on raining for the entire day! When we all finally woke up, we found snow in the backyard! Yes SNOW! Our first ever White Christmas on a Summer's Day! A very special Christmas olright! ;)

I woke up to go to ECC Christmas Combined service (around 300ppl) at 8:45am to prep up for our drama dot com presentation (round 2). After the service was over, I managed to bump into BL's ex-uni mates: Honda & Katrina (who will be moving to the UK next year as well!), Jason Y & Gigi (an ex-intern from P&G I haven't seen for like 2yrs now!).

After church, I went straight home to help mum and dad prepare for our big Christmas feast with Guo Zhu, Gloria & my 3 dear chickies: Cammy, Linda & Yin Zi at 1pm. My 2 bros also rang home at about the same time while we were having lunch. My parents were really happy to receive their call (thoughtful bros! Good boys! =)
Then the girls & I spent the entire afternoon chatting, eating, looking at the pics from the year that was & taking pics. By the time we looked at the watch, it was 7pm!

I met up with a friend for dinner at Box Hill at around 7:40pm. It was a nice relaxing night talking real D&Ms! We finally watched Tuesdays with Morey (what a great movie that talks about the meaning of life even when you know you're about to die! I learned so much from that movie!) at my friend's apartment in the city. Before you know it, it was 2am & thank God I wasn't asleep cos my dear cous Steph got my fav nieces & nephews to ring me from Malaysia to all scream in unison to me on the phone 'Merry Christmas!'. Thank you cous for arranging that! It means a lot to me as I've missed them way too much! Can't wait to see the fantastic 4 in FEB!!

Christmas 2006 I will remember as a meaningful day treasuring the moment spent with my loved ones....

So he gave me a giftcard from there for me so that I can be at least one step closer to achieving my dream! I was soooo touched by his sweet gesture!)
