A day of Fun: Curry, Lawn Bowls, Ice-SkatinG

After an exhausting busy period at work for the past 3 months, my head boss Alastair decided it's time to take time out from work and have an afternoon of just sheer fun!

It was also Fiona's last day (our office receptionist as her 1yr contract had been up), so we decided to go to Curry Club in Richmond (an all-you-can-eat Indian buffet, a great way to preapre for my taste buds for more Indian food in May). After that it was off to lawn bowls at Richmond bowling club where it was my first time playing the sport. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! We played for 2hrs after breaking into 6 teams with 3 games going at once. Of course, my team loss but that's cos everyone on my team were amateurs vs our opposition which had previously played the sport. So the boys drank their beers, while the girls drank their champagne.. cept I being a champagne lover, had just too many.. and drank 5glasses after 1.5hrs. I was sooooo tipsy by the time we caught our cab home! It was so bad that I nearly cancelled Keng's 25th Birthday held at the ice-skating ring in Oakleigh.

At night, Keng picked me up, and off we went to ice-skate along with the entire community of Cambodians (cos Keng had sooooo many cousins it was not funny!) The entire night I practiced skating backwards and doing cool whirly 360' turns, but the more I saw the professionals doing their routines, the more it made me give up cos I knew I would never be as good as them as I only go iceskating like once a 2yrs! After skating, we went to Shine at Glenny for coffees where we met up more of Keng's friends who coincidentally, one of them was Sheree (whom I met when I was going out with Benny 6yrs ago and I found out and all this time she was Keng's high school friend! gosh talk about 6 degree of separation!). I finally got home at 1:30am feeling absolutely nacked! Anyways, here are all the pics from my Friday!
