3 funny stories with the boys!

So today, I was running around like a mad goose being the church coordinator at Jus wedding with over 100 guests~! My role included everything that happens at the wedding ceremony! from flowers, to music, to ushering in the guests, to making sure the groomsmen had the rings, to communicating with the priest, THE LOT! The hardest bit of all is to coordinate when the bride arrives, to shutting the doors, to playing the music the same time as she comes in the church! (don't forget it's a BIG CHURCH!!) Anyways, thank God I pulled it through with everyone's help! Anyways, before I had to shut the door, I finally see one of the last guy coming in and it was EVAN!! Ohmigosh! it's been 5 yrs in a row now that we keep on bumping into each other in an event which we would never think we would see each other! and it always happens ONLY ONCE A YEAR and at the least expected place too! talk about 6 degree of separation! so after wedding, we went out for lunch to catch up on about 7mths worth of updates! It was funny cos he said to me 'oh no, we've used up our once-a-year-bumping-into-each-other credit so early on the year, so this means it'll be next year till I c u again!'. Then when we said grace for the food, he asked God 'for more than once of seeing each other in the year'. It was so funny. It was definitely nice to have caught up with him. We talked for like 2hrs at Sofias Camberwell over Fettucine & Totellini.

Anyways, then tonight at the dinner reception (with around 250 guests!) which I must say has been the best I've ever been to. It was filled with lotsa nice music and MC encouraged everyone to dance! and it was just like a ball too at a grand ball room where we were made to dress up! Anyways, so Edric was my date for the night since Judy was paired with her man Corey already and t'was only Edric and I who were both single! Anyways, so he picked me up to go to Epping together and when he finally came to my place, I realised he matched me!! he was wearing a black tie and white flowery design on it and BINGO perfect match with my black chongsum! He looked good!!
Anyhow, so the photographer came to each table to take pics of each couples. And of course straight away he assumes Ed and I are together. So he tells us to sit close to each other and then to make things even worse, he tells us to put our faces very close to each other. Ed and I couldn't stop laughing! The girl sitting next to me who's name is also Vicky but Vicky Poon! (another VP!) asked me 'so how long have u and your boyfriend been dating?!' HAHAHAHAHA!! talk about ppl judging book by its cover!

Third story of the night > So finally I get introduced to the last guy sitting on the table! When I looked at him at the start of the night, I knew his face was soooo familiar! and BINGO as soon as he said 'I'm Tristan' I just sat there flabbergasted! In my mind I was thinking, this is the guy who just broken up with Pau Ling after dating 5.5yrs all b/c both of them wanted to 'see what else is there on the market' as both of them were each other's first love! and yes, Tristan read me like a book and said 'yes, I know what you're thinking and yes I know who you are!'. So we started chatting.. about why they called it quits, about his job at PWC, about Yin Zi (as she was why I knew Tristan) and about my work etc. But the most funniest reaction I got from his face was when he asked me 'who's your ex in Deloitte?' and I told him and he was like 'WHAT?!! you're kidding me?!' I don't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing!

It's now 1:10am and boy I literally only have 3hrs to sleep before I wake up again and off to the airport! going to Syd again and this time taking my parents to Blue Mountains. God pls give me the strength that I need to drive the long 3hr drive!! In Jesus Name! Amen!
