Week of Eating Out!
This whole week I have been EATING OUT! That's right from Monday all the way through to Sunday! What's more, I can feel myself getting sick (serves me right)... I'm still recovering from my lack of sleep from the previous jampacked weekend *sigh*
Mon - Piccolo, Lyon St (home for Italian Food in Melbourne). It was my team dinner as we had our Trade Marketing Director of Asia Pacific, Joanne Harris, come down from Singapore to visit us.
Tues - Sakata, Burwood (Jap). It was our belated birthday celebration for our dear friend Kevin who's back in Melb from M'sia. So good to have caught up with ya ;) will see you in JAN so make sure U take me out eating and shopping in KL!! (p.s I also got my Hep A & B shot today, it killed! My arm 's still so sore! OMG and there I was thinking it was just another same old injection! IT SO WAS NOT!! I'm getting my booster come end of next month so I will all be ready for my trip to Cambodia in Jan (as you need to take the shots 3mths for the antibodies to kick in)! 8yrs immunisation against Hep B & 20yrs for Hep A, not bad hey...)
Wed - Purple Stones, Glen Waverley (owned by my good friend Raymond whom I've also managed to convince to come to my cell this Fri! yeah ;) It was Helen's farewell with the girls plus Titanium Ass (aka Chieny LOL!) & Raymond. She's off to the UK for 2yrs with her b/f Joe! Good on her for literally packing up her bags and selling her car etc to make this huge move! she will be my no. 11th friend off to the UK this year... sigh when is it my turn?! **rolling eyes
Thurs -Dragon Boat, Knox (my hot date with Eugene!) - LOL! no ler.. just makan only & talking about the recent speculation of Woolworths wanting to buy out API (which is the no.3 pharmaceutical chain in Australia who also owns Priceline Pharmacies, Price Attacks, Hairhouse Warehouse etc). I had the privilege to receive my whole night's lecture on Property Investment & Economics 101 from the guru himself. I tell ya after the night was over, I was sooooo inspired to buy my property. This will definitely happen next year! Thnx Eugene for giving me the nudge & the invaluable financial advice!
Fri - TGIF - This week we had a Pot Blessing at Jimmy & Sweet's Place in Kew. I went to Purple Stones at 6:30pm only to realise that Raymond's not there cos he'd totally forgot! so I ended up waiting for him at the restaurant till 7pm while reading magazines and sipping my lemon lime bitters which was on the house ;) Finally when Ray arrived, we got into the car and I was seriously struggling to drive with all the helium balloons at the back of my car (I took the balloons from work cos I wanted to spice up the party). I tell ya, reversing and changing lanes had never been so scary! All up we had about 15ppl turning up. The night itself was filled with lotsa food & laughs (thanx to all the guys who kept on sucking the helium gas and singing Mr Lonely in a silly chipmunk voice!)
Adorable Caleb!
It's Fondue Time!
Sat - Morning: GJ's with Darren & LW reminiscing over the photos from her wedding.
Night: Pastor's house in Dandenong, another Pot Blessing before our AGM meeting.
Sun - (catching up with my dear friend Ed from Tassie) 5:15pm - evening stroll on St Kilda Beach which was so relaxing! There was so many ppl in St Kilda as today's been the 1st true day of some decent spring weather (26'C).
As St Kilda was so crowded, we decided to have dinner at TGIF instead on Chapel St & then off to Cafe Greco for dessert (the exact same place of where we went 2yrs ago!). We caught up on the 4 months past as well as talking about our plans for the future. Like always, Ed gave me some pretty good career & personal development advice. Let's see if your prediction is true about me ultimately ending up with a white guy! LOL! All the best in your new job at Rest Point Casino, Hobart! I have ALL faith in you, so no fear k?!!
